Mid North Sea High lines acquired in 2015 (10849km) Blocks offered for the 27th Round of Oil and Gas Licensing on the 01/02/2012: Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) areas. The Blocks, which lie 10 km from United's Crown Discovery, are close to the Marigold and Yeoman discoveries and the substantial Piper, MacCulloch and Claymore oil fields. United was awarded the North Sea blocks 15/18d and 15/19b, in the UK Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) 30 th Licencing Round, in August 2018, and holds a 95% equity interest. The blocks include the Crown Discovery, initially discovered by Conoco Philips in 1998. The Emerald Oil Field lies in Blocks 2/10a, 2/15a and 3/1 lb in the UK sector of the northern North Sea. The field is located on the 'Transitional Shelf, an area on the western flank of the Viking Graben, downfaulted from the East Shetland Platform. The first well was drilled on the structure in 1978. The Bentley oil discovery is located in block 9/3b in the North Sea, 160km east of the Shetland Isles on the western edge of the Viking Graben. The block is more than 200 square metres. The Bentley reservoir contains around 160 million barrels of recoverable oil. Bentley oil field is expected to be put into commercial production in 2013. The Nelson Field is located in Blocks 22/11, 22/6a, 22/7 and 22/12a in the UK Central North Sea. Nelson is a simple dip closed structure and is one of a series of Palaeocene Forties Sandstone Member oil accumulations situated on the Forties-Montrose High. The first exploration well on the prospect, 22/11-1, was drilled by Gulf Oil in 1967.
